Kalypso Beach

An Absolutely fantastic place to enjoy great food (my favs are the mushroom pizza and Branzino) fine music, excellent service and amazing atmosphere! The restaurant is one of the rare ones to be located on the beach (NMB) with beautiful sunrises and moonlights, right in front of your table! The food The restaurant owner Achilles is the most hospitable one in Miami Beach with a fine Greek twist. Genuinely dedicated to give you the ultimate culinary experience with a homey feeling, Achilles has helped me host some of my best dinner and brunch parties, without breaking my wallet! He has accommodated all of my last minute needs, and the ones of my guests (French people are NOT easy to please) with and without children! The servers (Kenny, Augustina, and Marcelo) have played a key role in delivering a great service every time, in a timely fashion and with great smiles! I love this place! I could eat there everyday! It’s a true little gem by the ocean with great vibes! Keep up the good work!

The standout thing about this restaurant is the setting - it actually has a beach and ocean view across an attractive pool area, and the tables are outside but covered by the building. The service is also good. I found the food I ordered to leave a lot to be desired though - the fries were stale and the steak was tough. But still, the setting makes it worth it! On a second visit I tried the guacamole - not bad - and the chicken skewers - very low quality chicken. I'm lowering my food rating from four stars to three stars. But the setting is still very nice! On a subsequent visit I had the grilled octopus. It was quite good - by far the best thing I've had from their menu. The trio of dips is also ok. Still, the food quality is pretty variable, so I can't increase the food rating.

What a wonderful place. The setting was perfect and I especially enjoyed the ocean breeze and comfortable seating. As soon as we sat down and the owner, Achilles introduced himself to us and welcomed us to his restaurant. A very charming man and you could feel how much he cared about his customers as he made our experience feel very personal. We ordered guacamole and chips for an appetizer and it was delicious. For our main courses of three we ordered shrimp fettuccine, greek salad and a fish sandwich (Grouper). Everything tasted great. We had key lime pie and a chocolate brownie for dessert. I really enjoyed the key lime pie as did my wife. If you're in the area please give this restaurant a try, you won't be disappointed.

Miami has an abundance of large over-priced chain hotels, so it was a breath of fresh air to discover this family run gem that is right off the boardwalk. The people who work here make you feel like family and while I only popped in for Happy Hour, there were many happy diners at the restaurant. I can't wait to come back for dinner! Perfect spot for families or date night on the beach.

Tucked into the Oceanside of our favorite Boutique Hotel in NOBE, this place will WOW you with their food, atmosphere and view. The staff is phenomenal, service is excellent. We’ve had several things on the menu, most recently the Ahi Tartar, Greek Salad, Grape Arugula Salad, Kalypso Burger and pizzas (Margarita and Mushroom), everything was perfectly prepared and presented. It’s accessible from the beach walk or Collin’s Ave. you will not be disappointed with a visit to this fine establishment

A Must-Visit Gem in North Beach Miami! Kalypso Bar and Restaurant absolutely blew us away! We started with their rooftop breakfast buffet, and it was everything you could want to kick off the day — delicious, rich, and served with a stunning view of the ocean. The setting is beautiful and elegant, and the vibe is incredibly relaxing. On our first visit, we tried their burger, which was juicy, flavorful, and hands-down one of the best we’ve ever had. It was so good, we came back the very next day to explore more of the menu — and we’re so glad we did! We ordered the trio of spreads, the crunchy filo spanakopita, flavorful zucchini croquettes, and tender octopus to start. Everything was bursting with flavor. For mains, the grilled branzino was absolute perfection, and the grouper and chips had that perfect crispy outside and tender, flaky inside. As a Mediterranean food lover, I can confidently say this was one of the best meals I’ve ever had. We ended with cocktails — and wow! Their margaritas were top-notch, especially the signature cucumber spicy margarita, which was unique, refreshing, and absolutely delicious. To top it all off, the service was impeccable. The staff was always around, attentive, informative, and smiling — they truly made sure every moment was a great experience. Kalypso is a new favorite, and we’ll definitely be back. Highly, highly recommend!

Kenny was my waiter for nearly a week, and was absolutely amazing each and everyday! This place has AMAZING food, drinks and atmosphere. This place combined with Kenny’s amazing customer service makes it a true gem!!! I will 100% be back here in the future!!!
